Bonded Indebtedness only provides information on the bonded debt of the State of Arkansas. The Arkansas Constitution places limits on the State issuance of bonds. The entities reported in this section of the website have specific authorization by law to issue debt. Bonded Indebtedness data is updated quarterly.

This section of the Arkansas Financial Transparency web site only provides information on the bonded debt of the State of Arkansas. Various state agencies enter into loans, capital leases, etc., with Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA). ADFA records the bond issues for these debts. While the State has other types of debt; loans payable, notes payable, capital leases payable, installment sales payable, etc. only debt from a bond issue is presented on the Arkansas Financial Transparency web site. For information on other types of debt refer to the State's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). Bonded Indebtedness data is update quarterly.
