Initial Narrative     THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE 1 WAS TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON HIGHWAY 1 SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 138. FOR AN UNKNOWN REASON THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE 1 VEERED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY BEFORE STRIKING A TREE. THE DRIVER WAS PARTIALLY EJECTED AND THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE OPERATOR WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE BY DESHA COUNTY CORONER JAMIE EVANS AT 2:35 A.M. DUE TO THE CONDITION OF THE DRIVER OF V-1 POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION WAS COMPLETED THROUGH DNA ANALYSIS AT THE ARKANSAS STATE CRIME LAB.
