Initial Narrative     V1 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON U.S. HIGHWAY 270 JUST PRIOR TO CRYSTAL SPRINGS ROAD. V1 LEFT THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND INTO THE NORTH DITCH. V1 THEN DROVE BACK ONTO THE ROADWAY AND CROSSED OVER THE WEST BOUND LANE AND INTO THE EAST BOUND LANE OF TRAFFIC. V1 THEN LEFT THE ROADWAY INTO THE SOUTH DITCH AND STRUCK A TREE. JAMES M. THOMPSON WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE BY GARLAND COUNTY CORONER JAYSON NEIGHBORS.
